2023 NDGWA Summer Tour Carrington Area

The 2023 NDGWA Summer Tour has been set for Sunday, August 20th in Carrington area. The tour is open to the public. Registration is required. Meet at north side (sports bar) parking lot of the Chieftain Hotel and Conference Center. Be ready to leave by 12:15 p.m. The Chieftain restaurant serves Sunday brunch until 11:30 a.m. Lunch is on your own.Car-pool with old or new friends to the stops, or you may drive yourself. The first stop will be Cows and Co. Creamery where we will have a tour of the creamery, milk house and milking barn and learn about their cheese and gelato. https://cowsandcocreamery.com/ Next is the Carrington Research Extension Center where Kathy will tell us about the Northern Cold Hardy Fruit Project. The final stop is Dakota Sun Winery for wine tasting, tour, and supper. https://dakotasunwinery.com/
Registration includes Cows & Co. tour fee plus the wine tasting and meal at Dakota Sun Winery.
